Meet Your Artist

Growing up watching his mother cut his own hair with garment shears, John Falcon developed an affinity for hair artistry at a young age.

Years later, John found himself living in San Francisco, surrounded by mutually connected top stylists. After recognizing his passion for hair design, he began a two year apprenticeship, where he spent hours watching masters at work, ultimately adopting their technique as his own.

Influenced by renowned salons like Architects and Heroes in San Francisco, and Toni&Guy based in the United Kingdom, John Falcon has developed an intricate and methodical technique focusing on the precision of the service.

Inspired by Horst Rechelbacher, the founder of Aveda and Intelligent Nutrients, who taught the world about blending wellness and beauty through a full-body approach and naturally derived ingredients.

John has modeled his business in the likes of Rechelbacher, focusing on complete health, wellness and nurturing natural beauty.

After a transformative trip to the Aveda Institute in 2014, where he met Rechelbacher personally, John began his yoga practice. John takes inspiration from the wellness achieved through yoga, and incorporates the principles into his artistry.

John believes each client is an ongoing work of art, and that each person deserves the time, attention, and education required to achieve their ideal look. Because of his practice, John is able to effortlessly care for and connect with each client, allowing them to feel wholly and naturally beautiful.

Educationally driven and creatively inspired, John has spent over 12 years expanding his knowledge, devoting countless hours to mastering the art of cut and color in his own style.

As his experience continues to grow in the boutique town of Sonoma, John proceeds to develop and perfect his methods, leaving his clients with beautiful hair and smiling faces. When John doesn’t have shears in his hands, he can be found practicing yoga in the Northern California sunshine and attending front row concerts with his daughter.
